Below you will find 4 stories based on a new study from the Center for Immigration Studies (what an ugly site). I didn’t post several others but I wanted to point how a study from this group with an ambiguous (or unaffiliated) name is taken up in the media without noting that they are an ‘anti-immigration’ thinktank. Clarity is needed, if you ask me. I have been ‘duped’ into the past into thinking this group was neutral. Also please note that I don’t do this with groups like La Raza because their name says it all or Pew because of their reputation. Aanti-immigrant folk complain about stats from group like La Raza or LULAC, so this is fair. As a country we need fair and non-biased statistics to help us make the decisions that are coming.
