WSBS-Mega TV Channel 22 announced today that it has entered into a groundbreaking programming agreement with WBWP Channel 57, serving Palm Beach and Martin Counties in Florida, that includes the retransmission of Mega TV’s top programming on Channel 57 during day parts, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and primetime, 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Beginning December 5th, 2007, WBWP Channel 57’s day part programming will include Mega TV’s critically acclaimed programs including 22 Minutos, lamusica.com, Handyman, El Círculo, Código Astral, Raíces y Recuerdos, Mis 15, Agenda del Inmigrante and Mega News (re-runs).
WBWP Channel 57’s primetime line-up consist of a live retransmission of Miami’s station, including popular shows like Maria Elvira, Paparazzi TV, Handyman, Xpediente, El Circulo, Lamusica.com, Código Astral, Tremenda Corte, Bayly and the Brazilian Megaseries “Chocolate con Pimienta”

WBWP Channel 57, who most recently had transmitted MTV3, was also the first TV station in Palm Beach and Martin County, FL to transmit Spanish-language programming 24 hours, seven days a week. The channel aired music videos and local programs, and reached approximately 125,000 Hispanic viewers.
