Carmel Valley Parents Object To Spanish-Immersion Proposal – San Diego

“Some parents said they aren’t happy about plans for a Spanish immersion program in the Del Mar Union School District.

Students who attend Sycamore Ridge would have a Spanish and English education, with the goal of fluency in Spanish.

A similar program at Longfellow Elementary has been in place for more than 20 years and is very popular.”*
