Latino parents believe that teasing children because of their actual or perceived sexual orientation is harmful and that a majority of them want to speak to their children about sexuality, but don’t know how to start the conversation, according to a new survey.
The survey was released last month in conjunction with a Spanish-language handbook “Que Significa Ser Gay?” that is part of a support project for Latino parents to help them identify if their children are being bullied because of their real or perceived sexual orientation.”*
