US Artists Organization give nine $50,000 grants to Latinos/Hispanics

I received this via e-mail and am sharing.

“Yesterday the US Artists Organization, funded by Ford, Rockefeller, Prudential and individual donors announced the second year of its grant program. There are too many Latinos and Latinas on the list to mention here. The prize is worth $50,000 of unrestricted funding to the artists.”

In fact as far as I could tell (by name) 9 out of the 50 are Hispanic (that is 18% - you can see all of them here.)
