Hundreds of Latino students got a taste of the working world Wednesday. The Latin Chamber of Commerce teamed up with local businesses to help high school students see what life is like after graduation.
For the majority of these students, it is their first time to see what the working world is like. They shadowed employees in positions they hope to be working someday.
It’s business as normal at Virgen Advertising. Employees are working on accounts, and conducting meetings. But among the mix of workers is 17-year-old high school senior Marco La Baron.”*
