AM 1280 “The Blend” is remaking its overnight programming, unveiling MEGA 1280 and a tropical Spanish music format on Nov. 30.
The programming, which will air from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., will be the first radio programming in the region tailored to the area’s growing Hispanic population.
“This is something that isn’t really being offered in this area at any level,” said Ben Parker, AM 1280’s station manager in an exclusive interview with the Champion. “Our goal at ‘The Blend’ has always been to give people something they can’t get anywhere else. It was a totally empty slate that we can build upon.”"*
