“Puerto Rican universities are following students who migrated from the island to the Orlando area, tapping a market where they see a competitive advantage over other public and private schools in Florida.

Three universities from the Caribbean island have set up shop here, mostly targeting Hispanics.

The schools are banking on their name recognition, carving a niche by employing bilingual staff and offering programs — in English, Spanish or both languages — tailored to adults who work or have children but still want a college degree.”*
