A Peruvian Consulate opened Monday in Dallas, giving the South American nation two offices in Texas.
Consular officials have said an estimated 1.2 million Peruvians live in the U.S. Some 10,000 live in North Texas, said Gabriel Egusquiza, president of the Peruvian Association of Dallas-Fort Worth.
The other Peruvian Consulate is in Houston and serves part of Texas and other states.”*
