Sacramento’s portion of the International Latino Film Festival opens Tuesday night at Sacramento State University.
Even though the San Francisco-based festival is in its 11th year, this will be the first time Sacramento hosts part of it.
“In the last census, Sacramento was named the most diverse city in the United States,” said Sacramento State professor and Serna Center interim director Ted Lascher. “Having a Latino-based film festival is really a reflection of that.”"*
