“Three leading Republican presidential candidates have agreed to participate in a televised Spanish-language debate that was previously canceled because only two other candidates signed up.

Former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney agreed to participate in the Dec. 9 forum at the University of Miami. They join Arizona Sen. John McCain, U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas and U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter of California.

Only McCain and Hunter accepted the previous invitation from Univision, the largest Spanish-language network in the U.S., leading to the cancellation of the planned Sept. 16 debate.”*
