Wake County Commissioners Monday approved a partnership between the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency and the Wake County Sheriff’s Office to crack down on illegal immigration.
The plan calls for the county to spend $539,341 to hire 12 new positions in the Sheriff’s office.
