Bay Area’s 11th International Latino Film Festival kicks off

“Most 11-year-olds aren’t allowed to be up partying this late.

But when the preteen is a festival that’s part of the Latino community, curfews can be broken and clocks can be thrown out the window.

In that spirit, the 11th International Latino Film Festival San Francisco Bay Area opened Friday night at a crowded Castro Theatre. The opening ceremony started about 20 minutes late but was undoubtedly worth the wait.”*
