Arpaio vs. Activists . . . Maricopa County Board of Supervisors meetings are typically ho-hum, with officials quickly approving most items and commending each other with syrupy compliments about this, that and the other.
Wednesday’s meeting was the exception, packed with two hours of drama. Really.
A crowd of Hispanic activists showed up to tell the supervisors that they should reject the state’s distribution of more than $1 million to enforce immigration-related laws. “*
