Wisin y Yandel, the reggaeton due that has brought the public such hits as “Rakata”, Pam Pam”, “Yo Te Quiero” and “Noche de Sexo” will be featured in exclusive MTV Tr3s programming during November. The “Duo de la Historia” is set to release their new album “Wisin vs. Yandel: Los Extraterrestres” on November 6th and features collaborations with Eve, Fat Joe and Franco de Vita. The first single, “Sexy Movimiento,” is currently heating the airwaves across the country.
“Wisin y Yandel will be taking the reggaeton genre to the next level with their new album ‘Los Extraterrestres’. The dance influenced first single ‘Sexy Movimiento’ is a fantastic lead track that is sure to fire up dance floors,” said Jesus Lara, Senior Vice President, Music and Talent for MTV Tr3s and MTV/VH1 Latin America. “The duo is already an audience favorite having recently won the MTV Tr3s Viewer Choice Award for Best Urban Artist. Viewers are in for a treat with new exclusive programming on the duo all month long.”
Included in the Wisin y Yandel Artist of the Month programming are the following:
– Videologia, a half-hour special in which Wisin y Yandel share their video history, tell fans what inspires their musical innovation and talk about their experiences on the set of some of their most popular videos, including how models were chosen and funny anecdotes. Videologia with Wisin y Yandel premieres on Thursday, November 6th at 4 PM
– In Chicas Arriba: Wisin y Yandel, share videos from their favorite female artists, give relationship advice to their fans, and share some of their own personal experiences with love and chicas. This show premieres on Tuesday, November 13th at 5 PM.
– Viewers can also log onto mtvtr3s.com for a dedicated Artist of the Month page, which will include the latest news on Wisin y Yandel’s new release, and links to the duo’s page on Rhapsody and mtv.com.
Wisin y Yandel’s “Sexy Movimiento” video had its worldwide premiere on MTV Tr3s on October 25th.
