Marketers star at Latin festival in Orlando

With five different stages for live music, Central Florida’s largest Hispanic festival, Calle Orange, on Sunday turned downtown Orlando’s main thoroughfare into an oversized dance floor.
But the festival itself, in its ninth year, turned Orange Avenue into a four-block stage for the marketing of products and services from all over the spectrum: from condominiums, supermarket chains, banks and cell-phone companies to products such as a foot bath said to remove toxins and an abundance of beverages: vitamin-laden (or not), dietetic, caffeinated, calcium-enriched and alcoholic.”*
