El Circulo Takes a Bite Out of the Big Apple

“ (SBS) (NASDAQ: SBSA), announced today that the next episode of “El Circulo” will take viewers through an evening with some of ’s leading personalities. Ana Remos, the editor of “El Nuevo Herald,” recently attended the,” Casita María” gala in New York where she interviewed several prestigious Latin American personalities and celebrities. This episode of the popular “in-crowd” show will air on Tuesday, October 30, at 9:00 PM on WSBS Channel 22. (10 PM PT on Más Channel 405)

The “Casita María” (“The Little House of Mary”) gala is the biggest night on the social calendar for Latin Americans all over the world. Remos was invited to the gala as a special guest of Honorary Chairman, Raúl Suarez, an international art dealer from Zurich, Switzerland.

The gala took place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City and included approximately 500 famous guests. Among them were Carolina Herrera, the jet setting fashion designer, Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, Producer Jonathan Farkas and his beautiful wife Somers, Aileen Mehle, the famous “Suzy” of “W Magazine,” Caetana Enders, the owner of “HELLO,” Eduardo Sánchez Junco and his Eduardo and Carmen, Emilia and Pepe Fanjul, Alfy and Raisa Fanjul, Tonyu Bechara, the artist and director of “Museo del Barrio” (Museum of the Neighborhood), philanthropist Yolanda Santos Garza, and Mario Buatta, the legendary interior designer. The chairman of the gala was none other than the dynamic Venezuelan-Uruguayan, Jackie Weld Drake.

The upcoming edition of “El Círculo” will have exclusive interviews with two of the most prominent Hispanic women in New York City: Jackie Weld Drake and Yolanda Santos Garza. Ana Remos had the distinct pleasure of speaking with both women about their lives, the projects on which they are currently focusing, and their art collections. Additionally, Mrs. Santos Garza gives an exclusive dinner interview from her Park Avenue apartment in honor of the famous New York City Ballet choreographer, Christopher Wheeldon.
