Marisol Vazquez, a bashful 16-year-old, is struggling to pass four of her seven classes.
Every day, the Riverwood High sophomore and mother of a 4-month-old, thinks about quitting school.
But Marisol, of Sandy Springs, recently joined a club that helps motivate her to stay. She is using her multilingual skills to help non-English-speaking parents communicate with their children’s non-Spanish-speaking teachers.”*
