Los TexManiacs: new CD ‘About Time’

Max Baca & Los TexManiacs are one of the best neo-trad conjuntos in San Antonio. Now they are celebrating the release of a new CD, titled “About Time.

“The first single, ‘Adios Goodbye So Long,’ was inspired by (the late) Doug Sahm,” said Baca, a bajo sexto player. “It is about a guy and the girl who breaks his heart. It is the same old story, he’s a musician and it’s the typical musician song, where the musician get his heart broken.”"*
