Oldest Quran Sells For $2.3 million by the Hispanic Society of America

Christie auction house said the sacred book, which auctioneers believed to be sold at $715,000 fetched at least $2,327,300 when auction ended in London.”*
I had never even heard of the Hispanic Society of America. A free museum and reference library for the study of the arts and cultures of Spain, Portugal, and Latin America in New York City.
