His father said Arellano could get a job with him as a truck driver and start making money immediately. Why would he need college?
“My dad was angry, and felt defied,” Arellano told a group of 25 Concordia Elementary parents Thursday night. “I said, ‘I don’t want to work like you. I don’t want to get up at 3 a.m. and work six days a week and always be tired.’”"*
