“Wanda Molina, the former Jersey City chief municipal court judge who was charged with official misconduct yesterday, made local history when she was appointed as the first Hispanic Jersey City municipal court director and then the first Latina chief judge in Jersey City.

She was appointed court director in October 2003 by Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham and was appointed chief judge by Mayor Jerramiah Healy in December 2004. As chief judge she earned $109,265.”*
