Knowledge is Power!
“South Florida fans got a treat when World Wrestling Entertainment Raw ring announcer and rising Latin music star Lilian Garcia signed copies of her breakthrough debut CD, ¡Quiero Vivir! (I Wanna Live), on Friday, Oct. 19 at Best Buy in Hialeah, Fla.
The CD, featuring 10 Spanish language tracks and two English, is a culmination of her hard work and musical aspirations. Tim Mitchell (Shakira) and George Noriega (Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Jon Secada) produced the effort. Secada co-wrote three songs with Garcia and sang on the duet Adonde.
”Everyone is really happy for me,” said Garcia, who began putting the CD together in 2005 with a bulk of the work done in Miami. “They have been very supportive. I think they know I’ve wanted to do this for so long.””*
