“Everyone’s scrambling to cash in on the ever growing Latino culture — case in point, MTV launched MTV Tr3s in late 2006, targeting bilingual Latinos with music and entertainment.
But as the Los Angeles’ Latino culture continues its rapid growth on the West Coast, hip-hop is becoming more and more one of Latinos’ biggest influences. Via a new documentary, titled “La Revolúcion Es La Música,” filmmaker Cleo Valente documents that influence, which is effecting the next generation of Latino Americans and discusses it with several key players within the Latino hip-hop crowd.”*
