Mexican Government Agency Accepts Saba Offer For Aeromexico
Tagged: Aeromexico, family, insurance, MexicoPosted on: October 16th, 2007“Mexico’s deposit insurance agency IPAB, which owns a stake in airline Consorcio Aeromexico SAB (AMEXICO.MX), said Tuesday that it has accepted a sweetened takeover bid for the company submitted by the local Saba family.
In a press release, IPAB said it would consider higher offers until midday Tuesday.
Federal development bank Nacional Financiera and the Finance Ministry, which also own stakes in Aeromexico, are also prepared to accept the Saba bid, the agency said.”*
