That’s according to staffing agencies and consulting firms. According to U.S. Census statistics, in the past three years Florida’s population increased by 1.4 million people, more than a third of them Hispanic. More than 81,000 Hispanics call Polk home, making up 14.5 percent of the county’s total population.

For schools and police departments, finding people who can better meet their needs is necessary to its day-to-day functions. For other businesses, the issue is remaining competitive, and businesses are finding that they must reflect their communities and tailor their services to meet their new customers’ needs.”*
