“A sternly beautiful tale of adultery set in a Northern Mexican Mennonite community, director Carlos Reygadas’ “Silent Light” won this year’s top prize, the Golden Hugo, at the 43rd Chicago International Film Festival Sunday. The jury awards were announced Sunday. The festival concludes Wednesday with the closing-night screening of “The Savages,” starring Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman.”*
