“The Hispanic Convention, the annual muster of Hispanic and civic leaders, typically addresses issues critical to the region’s dominant Hispanic group, Puerto Ricans.

But immigrants from and are adding new flavors to the Latino community of Northeast Ohio, and Convencion Hispana 2007 reflects some of that changing world.

The convention Saturday at Lincoln West High School is expected to attract more than 1,000 people.”*
