Clinica Hispana making impact in Green Bay community

“The Clinica Hispana, a health-care clinic staffed with Spanish-speaking doctors, nurses and assistants, has been open a little more than a month, but it’s already having a big impact.

“I feel that it’s very important and it’s something that was really needed,” said Yesenia Navarro, team leader at the clinic. “It’s very important for the Hispanic community at this point.”

Since its doors opened on Sept. 4, the clinic — which is part of Bellin Health — has seen anywhere from 30 to 50 patients a day, said Dr. Jean Riquelme, lead physician.”*
