” But for many Hispanic high school students, these often-heard phrases are not trite, said Hernan Prado, a speaker for a Hispanic student outreach program.

Speaking Friday at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Prado urged dozens of Hispanic high school students in Alabama to get an education, even if they don’t enjoy the classes.

“It’s about being successful, not about liking something or not,” Prado said.”
