Nordstrom sued for racial harassment

“The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued Nordstrom Inc., accusing the department-store chain with harassing Hispanic and black employees, accusations the company denied Wednesday.

The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Miami accuses Nordstrom of failing to protect former employee Gloria Pimentel and other workers from a female supervisor who complained openly about her belief that Hispanics are lazy and ignorant.”
