Tejano legend Little Joe brings unique sound to festival

“Hey, man, I’m just a redneck-Mexican boy from a little town. I’m a cotton picker,” Hernandez says. It’s a reference to his scrappy upbringing in Temple, where Hernandez would accompany his farm-worker father on trips to West Texas.
“I just do music on the side. They came up with these cotton-picking machines, and there goes my job.”"
