“Movida Communications, Inc. today announced that it has named 27-year wireless telecommunications veteran Keith Paglusch to the post of Senior Vice President-Operations, effective Oct. 1, 2007.

“We are very pleased to add a person of Keith’s caliber to the Movida team,” said Michael Robinson, Movida’s CEO. “His successful experience building networks and platforms from the ground up – through all phases of operations – will greatly assist Movida in extending its prepaid voice and value-added services to the Hispanic market in the US. Keith’s new responsibilities will include technical operations, supply chain, and customer care leadership oversight. He has deep experience in all of these disciplines.”

Prior to joining Movida, Paglusch was Chief Operating officer of Windstream Communications, the country’s largest provider of rural communications services. He previously served as executive vice president of operations for Global Signal Inc., prior to their $5 billion merger with Crown Castle. At Global Signal, he helped grow the company into the owner and operator of 11,000 towers and other wireless communications sites.

Prior to joining Global Signal in 2004, Paglusch spent 18 years with Sprint Corp and held several executive positions in local, long-distance, wireless and corporate organizations, including President of Sprint E-Solutions and Senior Vice President-Operations for Sprint PCS, where he led the start-up and build-out of Sprint’s wireless network.
