Knowledge is Power!

“In an effort to continue raising awareness about early detection and prevention of breast cancer, Ford Motor Company, with its Warriors in Pink program, is teaming up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the leader of the breast cancer movement, to honor three Hispanic women for being an example of a true warrior.

In every woman there is a believer, survivor and fighter. The Ford Warriors in Pink campaign recognizes these traits along with the strength and courage it takes to deal with the everyday challenges of fighting breast cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is the most frequent cancer affecting Hispanic women and yet Hispanic women are least likely to solicit and obtain medical information about breast cancer compared to other ethnic groups.”
