“In response to a federal lawsuit over voting irregularities, the Kane County clerk’s office has agreed to provide Hispanics with bilingual access to polling places, including translators and Spanish-speaking election judges.
The civil suit was filed by the U.S. Department of Justice after federal monitors allegedly observed irregularities in Carpentersville in November, including complaints that numerous polling sites did not open on time.”
