“I think it’s wonderful,” she said of the festivities at Cooper River Park Sunday afternoon. “It’s important to celebrate the different nationalities of Latino Americans.”
The third annual outdoor Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration began Sunday afternoon with a variety of traditional dance music infused with the newer beats of Reggaeton, a music trend that combines the rhythms of the dancehall and hip-hop genres, infusing influences from electronic, bomba, plena and other styles.”
