Garza, Bears celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

“In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Bears guard Roberto Garza traveled to Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood Tuesday to visit the Rauner Family YMCA, which serves primarily Hispanic children and families.

Garza was recognized by the Rauner Family YMCA at its 2006 Sporting Festival for his support and involvement with the children of the community.

Children from the Rauner YMCA will hold the American flag on the field during the National Anthem Sunday night at Soldier Field when the Bears host the Dallas Cowboys.”
