Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber votes not unanimous after all
Tagged: Hispanic Chamber, TexasPosted on: September 19th, 2007“The president and vice president of the long-divided Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce were not unanimously re-elected to the board Monday night, despite what a chamber officer indicated to the Tribune-Herald after the meeting.
The vote for the board president, according to chamber secretary Anthony Pena, was 7-3 in favor of Fidencio “JR” Marquez, though Pena acknowledged telling the Tribune-Herald after the election that the vote was “pretty much unanimous.”
