David Alvarado, 78, died Saturday, Sept. 15, at Providence Place care center.
A lifetime area resident, Alvarado was the owner of Casa de Tacos for over 40 years, at the restaurant’s original location at 19th and Park Drive and more recently at 7516 State Avenue. The original location was sold several years ago and now operates under the name Casa de Hernandez; the State Avenue restaurant was sold last year and is now called Dancing Like David.”
