After months of discord, Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber unites in election - Texas

“Board members who questioned the integrity of the Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s leadership had their chance to change the organization’s direction in an election Monday night but apparently didn’t take it.

Instead, the very leadership that they questioned ”” the organization’s president, Fidencio “JR” Marquez, and Stevie Flores ”” was re-elected unanimously to hold their posts as president and vice president, respectively.

Although the organization’s newly elected secretary, Anthony Pena, called the mood “serene” and “comfortable,” the election had been set up to be the perfect storm.”
