Stuart illustrator Orlando Ramirez brings story of ‘Cheech’ to life

The children’s book “Cheech the School Bus Driver,” with story by actor and comedian Cheech Marin, was published in July by HarperCollins, and two sequels are already in the works.
A native of Puerto Rico, the 35-year-old Ramirez is a graphic designer and former Hallmark card artist whose work has been used for dozens of “Learning Resources” school books, which (like the “Cheech” series) are published in English and Spanish editions.”
