“State officials are planning a Latino voting summit in an effort to increase turnout among the state’s Hispanic residents.

Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz and Latino and Affairs Commission Executive Director Fernando Betancourt said they will host the summit Sept. 22 at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven. “
