“Rice is doing its part to be part of this larger initiative of Houston to be more globally connected to Latin America and I think the criticisms in the past have been well-founded but I’m here to sort of represent and to put into action a new future,” he said.
For some Rice students, a strong Hispanic studies background is critical.”
