Public TV gets first 24-hour Spanish channel – V-me in Washington state
Tagged: population, Seattle, Spanish-language, V-me, WashingtonPosted on: September 15th, 2007“In an effort to reach more of Washington’s growing Hispanic population and provide educational Spanish-language programing, Public Broadcasting Service affiliates KCTS in Seattle and sister station KYVE in Yakima will begin broadcasting the “V-me” channel.
According to a news release, it is the first 24-hour Spanish-language channel distributed by public television stations.”
