“Over 3,000 attendees from top U.S. corporations, the Hispanic business community, and International companies will attend the 2007 Annual Convention, Business Expo & International Pavilion. Themed “Bridging Commerce Among the Americas,” the 2007 Annual Convention will provide representatives from the Western Hemisphere’s leading corporations with the exciting opportunity to create and strengthen business partnerships. The United States of Commerce (), the leading advocate for the more than two million Hispanic-owned businesses in the United States alone, is proud to host this year’s convention at the new Convention Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico, September 19-22.

“Unprecedented,” is how Michael L. Barrera, President and CEO, describes the upcoming Convention. “It is a unique event driven on the principle of partnerships, business growth, and procurement, which provides an opportunity for the Hispanic business community to network and organize around key issues that affect the U.S. and global economy.”

The four-day event will include a variety of workshops, chamber training, and business sessions focused on building business relationships and creating opportunities for participants from all industries and from every corner of the U.S. and throughout the Americas.

The Convention culminates with a special Awards Dinner Gala to celebrate and recognize the achievements of local and statewide Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, extraordinary Latina and Latino business leaders and entrepreneurs, and government advocates on behalf of the Hispanic business community.
