More than 50 years of Puerto Rican fine art is surveyed in “Puerto Rican Art: Image of a Culture” on view through Oct. 28 at the Orlando Museum of Art.

“Culled from the corporate collection of a company called Cooperativa de Seguros Multiples de Puerto Rico, the exhibition comprises a wide range of artistic genre from 51 artists. Organizers say the company owns more than 600 works of art, making the collection the largest one of contemporary Puerto Rican art.

Some of the more important Puerto Rican artists represented in the exhibition include Wichie Torres, Rafael Tufino, Yolanda Munoz, Daniel Lind, Maria de Mater O’Neill, Carmelo Sobrion, Cacheila Soto and Enoch Perez.”
