“Joe Rodriguez, the Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce executive director who was sued by his own board members, is reportedly getting his legal tab paid for by an old ally: the local League of United Latin American Citizens chapter, headed by his wife, Alice.

So says attorney Abel Reyna, who was involved in the mediation of the lawsuit last week but not the suit itself. He said Joe Rodriguez’s attorney, James Rainey, openly acknowledged in an attorney conference prior to mediation that LULAC was paying his bills.”
