“Mexican hotel operator Grupo Posadas SA, which already owns the country’s other major carrier, Mexicana, plans to bid for airline company Consorcio Aeromexico SA, the Federal Competition Commission said Tuesday.

The commission has 35 days to rule on whether to grant Posadas antitrust clearance. Posadas bought Mexicana in 2005.”
