RBD, MTV Tr3s and Roptus Team Up to Promote the U.S. Leg of “Tour Celestial 2007’

“Latin pop sensation RBD, MTV Tr3s and Roptus are teaming up to promote the band’s “Tour Celestial 2007” in the U.S. and give young Latinos more ways to connect to RBD through exclusive programming on the network’s signature shows starting September 13th. RBD’s U.S. leg of “Tour Celestial 2007” kicks off on September 15th in San Juan, Puerto Rico and travels to Chicago, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Jose, Fresno, Los Angeles, San Diego and wraps up in Miami on November 10th. MTV Tr3s viewers will first have a to chance shout-out their RBD-related messages during a dedicated episode of “TXTO,” the network’s highly popular interactive show that will air on September 13th at 4 PM.

RBD then makes a special appearance on “Mi TRL, ” on September 20th at 4:30 PM when the band will perform its hit single “Besame Sin Miedo,” and one other surprise track.

In “Tour-ismo,” fans will get to see a different, more intimate side of RBD as the group gets to know New Mexico. They shop for vintage clothing, meet with Native Americans who explain the city’s “celestial” spirit, ride low-riders and lots more before performing in concert. “Tour-ismo” with RBD will air on Tuesday, October 9th at 4 PM.

RBD is a group that originated in 2004 as part of the Mexican soap opera “Rebelde”. The group, formed by Anahi, Dulce, Maite, Alfonso, Christian and Christopher soon surpassed fiction and became a reality. The group is now taking the world of Latin pop music by storm and has two Platinum recordings to its name. Before coming to the U.S., “Tour Celestial 2007” sold out venues in Brazil, Ecuador, Spain and, for the first time, Romania and Japan.
