“In the black-and-white photographs lining one Evergreen bookshelf, a birthday is called a “cumpleanos” and America’s favorite pastime is “beisbol.”

“Images of America: Latinos in ” is a new exhibit featuring community photographs of Hispanic life, portraits and celebrations. So far, 10 images are displayed, but organizers said there is room for 100 photos that help illustrate the depth and beauty within the Hispanic experience.”
